This cushion's fabric is a contemporary graphic approach to traditional tribal patterns.
Rich cultural patterns with a focus on Aboriginal and tribal origins inspired this collection of woven fabrics. Looking at native products, artisanal techniques, and traditional motifs. Playing around with composition, scale, and placement to create a bold monochrome faded tribal pattern.
This bold monochrome cushion is woven with post-consumer waste from mills across the British Isles, in Siobhan's Brighton studio. This cushion is sealed with an invisible zip and comes with a British duck feathered inner.
