How does the saying go? Friends who weave together, stay together. So we invite you join founder Shiv in a 3-hour wall-hanging workshop, where she’ll take you behind the seams of our sustainable textiles. Then it’s over to you. Working on a small handheld frame loom, you'll learn how to start and finish weaves, explore different fibres and craft a range of simple and effective techniques.
All levels, abilities and children over the ages of 10 are welcome.
Why weave?
All yarn is rescued from British mills. With every warp and weft, you’ll be helping close the loop on the fast-fashion textiles industry.
Looms and tools are laser cut from environmentally friendly plywood in Brighton.
Making things by hand has been proven to decrease stress, relieve anxiety and improve mental health.

- Tickets are sold per person. We do not send out a physical ticket, your email confirmation is your ticket. Please contact us via email Hello@shivtextiles.co.uk if you need any further info.
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for workshop bookings, but we understand that things might come up, so we are happy to defer your booking to a future workshop if need be. If you would like to make any changes to your booking we kindly ask for 7 days' notice. Please let us know via hello@shivtextiles.co.uk if you need to make a change.
- All of our workshops aim to start promptly. With this in mind, we politely request that you arrive 10 minutes before the workshop starts. If you are running late for the workshop, please let us know via email.
There will be a maximum of six people per workshop. Each participant will have their own workspace. Hand sanitiser will be provided. Please do not visit if you have symptoms or are feeling unwell.
