Seaside Weaving Kit: Extra Weft Techniques
Inspired by my love of the seaside. This themed weaving kit introduces you to the art of extra-weft pattern weaving on a frame loom.
This kit includes five unique weaving patterns, all inspired by the colours, textures and rhythms of the seaside. You’ll learn how to read and follow patterns, explore new techniques, and begin creating your own woven designs.
Designed as a step up from my beginner kits, this is perfect if you’re ready to develop your skills and experiment with pattern-making.
What makes Shiv Textiles kits special?
All yarns are rescued from British mills, meaning you’ll be working with beautiful, high-quality materials that would otherwise go to waste. Every warp and weft helps play a small part in closing the loop on the fast-fashion textile industry.
Each kit includes my illustrated weaving manual, guiding you through tools, techniques and pattern reading in a clear, accessible way with plenty of inspiration for your own future projects.
All looms and tools are laser cut in Brighton, promoting small batch making with minimum waste.

Seaside Weaving Kit - Pre Order Only
This is a pre-order item. Orders for the Seaside Weaving Kit will open on 7th April, with all kits scheduled to be dispatched in June.
As I’ll be on maternity leave during this time, there will be a longer lead time than usual. Each kit will be carefully prepared and packed ahead of dispatch, and I’ll keep you updated along the way.

By placing a pre-order, you are agreeing to this extended delivery timeframe. If your order includes other items, please note that everything will be shipped together in June. If you’d like other items sooner, I recommend placing a separate order.
If there are any unexpected delays, I’ll communicate these as soon as possible.

Customs and import taxes

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

- Digital downloads

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
